Summer in the city - believe it or not...26th of June, Summer in the city...on 26th of June, Scuderia Froschenteich visits the Rosengart Collection near Neuss, Germany. Rosengart was french entrepreneur. In the "Golden twenties", he became one of the richest men in France. His first automobile was a licensed production of the famous Austin Seven.

Rosengart is nearly unknown in France today, so the private collection near Neuss is the only Rosengart Museum worldwide. It is open during the summer on weekends from 11.00 am to 4 pm. You will find it at the autostreet B477 in the village Rath near Neuss/Duesseldorf. In the last years, the museum becomes more and more a meeting point of classic cars and motorcycle fans. Therefore not only the collection is worth the visit, but the cars and motorcycles owned by the visitors and displayed in the parking lot in front of the old museum building, too.

If you like to have, you will get a guided tour through the collection. Main theme are the Austin Seven derivates, but you can find licensed production of Citroens Traction Avant as well as Adler Triumph cars.

Really worth a visit, you should try to stop over if you are on vacation in the Rhineland!
