Restoration progress continues...good job, John (and thanks for the photos, Pat!)!

Yep, everything fits. Note the jaunty flair of the fenders. They will have to go back into the spare bedroom while the chassis goes on the famous "rotisserie". By the way, the decor of the house is "early MG". Bedroom trimmed in wheels, bumpers and radiator surround. Seats and fenders on spare bed. (We can't have any nocturnal fights! Nowhere to go!) Tires under coffee table; seat backs behind sofa. "House by Morris Garage"..
No no! You can't drive it yet! Here's the bride you saw in the 1955 photo. Both car and wife have changed a bit but both still treasured. Note: the wife hasn't gone to pieces over the car restoration!
Like a chicken skewered for roasting, the chassis is bolted to a pair of engine stands for final painting. Here's the body in primer. Wrinkles gone, finish pristine and awaiting the final paint.
Master engine mechanic at work.
Voila! The chassis now looks like it was made of licorice! Next step will be final finish coat on the body. Fenders and hood will be painted. How do the paint shops that advertise "bring your car in by 9, we'll have it painted by 5" do it! This paint project is "in by the end of the 19th century, out by the millinium"
